The 1-vial composition is ideally suited for easy reaction assembly, requiring only the addition of primers and target RNA. The proprietary reaction buffer allows a convenient hot start RT-qPCR.

In addition, the enzymes for reverse transcription and for PCR feature hot start for premium specificity1).

The master mix is optimized for SYBR® Green I applications and does not require optimization with Mg(OAc)2.

1)The reverse transcription activity will be suppressed at temperatures significantly below 60°C.
